Our Partnerships + Projects

When we bring a nonprofit or b-corp into partnership, we’ll be analyzing the leverage we can apply to help them move their mission forward. Depending on the needs of each organization, our partnerships may include financial investment, time and talent donation (business consultation, mentoring or specific services) or a combination thereof.

Here we highlight a few of the organizations we have partnered with over the years. Additionally, our team members have had the pleasure of providing (via the various for-profit businesses they've owned) pro-bono services to a number of nonprofit organizations, including:

  • American Diabetes Association (Colorado Chapter)
  • Arts Street
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver
  • Colorado Aids Project
  • Colorado Symphony

Habitat for Humanity

We were proud to be a part of Habitat’s Tollgate Crossing project which built new homes in a mixed-income neighborhood in the Cherry Creek School District for deserving families. Our and our fellow donors' commitment to education contributed to the biggest land donation Habitat for Humanity had ever received, and we joined the land donor to build these homes blended into a neighborhood planned with a clubhouse and pool, ball park and hiking trails.

Challenge Foundation

The Challenge Foundation helps smart, ambitious, and hard-working students break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities. Challenge takes a whole-student approach, awarding tuition scholarships and individualized support services to low-income students.

LeverLab (Chanan Foundation) has scholarshipped some amazing students to great Denver schools, and we share Challenge Foundation’s view of the big picture: “we see the potential in our scholars and their dreams of higher education, the impact they will make in their communities, and the way that giving back to the world is a privilege we should all strive to earn.”

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

If it’s Christmas morning, we’re at Civic Center Park setting up tables of goods for our shoppers: Denver’s homeless community. It’s such a fantastic morning every year, and although we recognize the needs of our homeless friends every day of the year, there’s just something special about this Christmas project!
